Welcome back to the Bayside BaCC with an update on the first person to join the settlement in her second season.  As you can see from the photo taken at the end of the season, the Rain family has a decently updated shop. Last we left Emilia, she had just purchased the Eternal Sunshine Boutique.

Emilia's garden wasn't doing too well at the end of the season, due to a bit of neglect and mostly trying to earn money for a new shop that she purchased at the end of last season. However her garden would end up netting her a decent profit due to the amount of tomatoes that she harvested.

Her digging would eventually pay off when she struck literal gold in the form of a treasure chest, which she immediately sold and turned around to start building her shop.

Welcome to the skeleton of the Eternal Sunshine Boutique, She isn't starting with much but the funds that she had gave it a decent outer shell and she was able to plot out where most things would go.

After a few days of residing at the shop and digging constantly for another treasure chest, Emilia had started to get lonely, despite talking to friends in between the hours she spent digging, including the object of her affections. One night she decided to invite him to the shop for a bit.

"So Ben...I can't help but notice that you and Brandi aren't really all that close. Are you free to join me for a bit?" She asked feeling a bit coy as she twisted her fingers together.

"Well...No...I mean she's cute but..." He trailed off, a slightly dopey smile on his face.

"But...You'd rather spend time with me?" She asked hopefully and she traced her fingers over his hand.

"Yeah, I would actually. I'm kind of glad that you called me." Ben agreed and laced his fingers with hers.

Unfortunately for them, the two were forced to part ways because weariness was getting to them both.

Time went by like this for them for a few days before Emilia decided to ask him for herself if he would like to spend the rest of their lives together.

Spoiler: He said yes.

And to the victor goes the spoils. I just hope that it's only one bun in the oven. This house is too small for any more than that.

And on the second to last day of the season, Benjamin Long became Benjamin Rain joining the household with 5000~ funds and allowing their lovely little house to expand.

From the small little 1 bedroom, 1 bath, Emilia's Cottage has now expanded to have a dedicated nursery and a larger kitchen and living room.

On the morning of the last day, Emilia finally revealed her pregnancy and the person behind the computer missed the rings.

And with the end of the season, Benjamin and Emilia curled up together and everything was perfect for them.

And it's that time again for seasonal stats

Welcome to Bayside, a brand new settlement looking for people from all walks of life to live and work in its area. There are a few catches to this though, until certain requirements are met, its new populace will not be able to work anything but the land and seas for their wealth. So far, only one brave soul has decided to accept the challenge ahead.

 Rain 1

This brave soul in fact.

Meet Emilia Rain, a knowledge sim with the vast desire to study human behavior, write about it and earn a living off of the pursuit. That's right, she so desperately desires to be a journalist, which laughably isn't going to happen, though I will do my best to give her a platinum grave. She's a Virgo (9-2-6-3-5). She was offered a grant by her university to come to Bayside and be the new town's first resident.

The house she was able to build with the grant is in a word: cute. Surprisingly functional for a single person too. It works well for her purposes, at least for the time being. And by the time she has found a suitable mate, she's positive that she'll have expanded the house plenty.

An added bonus, she found, was that there had been enough money to at least put down plants, though it did take a day or two before she had the funds to fully plant her garden.

It wasn't too long before she was hailed by one of the townies from another part of the area, come to investigate the outsider and first settler to Bayside.

To Emilia's mind, Joe Smith was fairly attractive for an older gentleman. Perhaps it was something in his bearded persona or his gentle smile as he played with a local stray.

And even sooner, Emilia met others from the other town, including Brandi LeTourneau, Marisa Bendett, and Benjamin Long.

Benjamin Long was another fairly attractive man to Emilia, though she might have been too late if the way he was gazing smittenly at Brandi was any indication.

The most suitable companion that Emilia had found thus far was a stray cat named Moonshine, though before she could possibly adopt the cat, he was gone.

Most of her time was spent digging for buried treasure in the ground of her cottage, spurred on by rumors told to her by several of the locals, including a few of her new acquaintances. Sadly no buried treasure, but quite a few odds and ends that she did sell.

And again the next night as well, She had made close to 2700 by this point but still not enough for a community lot.

During this first season that she lived in Bayside, Emilia also encountered several wolves, something she was highly excited to see. Because wolves meant a possibility that werewolves could exist in Bayside. She may or may not have had aims to be the first.

On the final day of the season, Emilia encountered Toby Bruenig and enticed him to summon a few others from the gardening club to inspect her garden thus far. She was pleased with the knowledge that her garden was good enough to earn her a membership despite being quite small yet.

With the additional money brought in by her night's digging after her inspection by the gardening club, Emilia realized that she finally had enough to buy a small community lot. The name? Eternal Sunshine Boutique. A clothing store.

So to end this first season, the stats are as follows.
